Status Legend

Every page on this site carries a status marker so readers can tell settled design from work in motion.

Marker	Meaning
stable	Public version of canonical, frozen design. Changes only through a new baseline release.
experimental	Accepted direction under active implementation; structure is settled, details may shift.
working draft	Published for transparency; may change substantially without notice.

Two related legends used on specific pages:

• Roadmap gate statuses — shipped, in progress, active spine, planned. Gates are scopes, never date or outcome commitments.
• Frozen / open decisions — concept pages distinguish frozen vocabulary from deliberately open decisions. Open decisions must not be closed by inference from this site; anything not marked frozen may still change.

A page's status describes the design it documents, not the quality of the prose. A stable concept can be documented on a page that still gets editorial fixes; conversely, polished text about an open decision remains working draft.
